Rainbow Romance (LGBTQIA+)

Aura and Ruby. Oh-my-god.

Insta-love soulmates with chemistry that could set the world on fire. The writing is sublime, the story – dark, twisted, romantic.

Heed those trigger warnings, this book is dark.

“She’s the other half of my soul. The piece they believe corrupted me. But she’s the one who’s set me free.”

― Liza James, Vibe

A dirty and sweet M/M/F Poly romance. The true heartbeat of the story is the relationship – it shines with pure love.

I absolutely bought this for my bookshelf, there’s just something so fun about it.

Amazon | Goodreads

“I love you, and I love Rick. I love both of you. I love both of you together, and both of you as just yourself. Sometimes I’ll want to love you, and sometimes I’ll want to love you, and sometimes, most of the time, I’ll want to love you both together.” I let him digest my words. “And sometimes I’ll want you to love each other without me. That’s how three should work.”

― Jade West, Sugar Daddies

Intense with real world issues woven into a beautifully written love story. I read and fell in love with Smoky Mountain Dreams and Leta Blake’s stories back in 2015 and this has stayed one of my favorite stories.

Christopher and Jesse are the absolute sweetest couple, I swear. Love them.

Amazon | Goodreads

“Like, are you ever homesick for something that you never had? That’s how I feel when I’m singing sometimes, like I could find my way back to…somewhere.”

― Leta Blake, Smoky Mountain Dreams

I read Ice waaaaay back in the day and really enjoyed this almost enemies-to-lovers F/F novel. Alex and Maggie are opposites that attract during the survival of an epic plane crash in the middle of an icy backdrop. It’s a quick read and what I remember, it was pretty well written.

Amazon | Goodreads

“Somewhere between hello and you’re not dying on my watch, Maggie had fallen in love with Alex.”

― Lyn Gardner, Ice

F/F Bully Romance. For real, these two, or really one of the two is really mean. So be prepared for that.

Not my absolute favorite Pen Douglas but still recommend it. The ending was well deserved and the epilogue is EVERYTHING.

Amazon | Goodreads

“Bitter but beautiful, like valium on my tongue. That’s what she’s like.”

― Penelope Douglas, Tryst Six Venom

Griff and Dante, be still my beating heart. These two are fire, pun intended, they’re firefighters, best friends, and when they come together. . .it’s equally molten lava hot and massively sweet.

Plus, I was able to snag a signed copy when I went to RT years ago, so I’ve got a soft spot for it.

Amazon | Goodreads

“Griff groaned and covered Dante’s loose mouth with his own, driving his tongue in to steal the stars from his eyes, the fire from his mind.”

― Damon Suede, Hot Head

This was sooooooo fun! Heroes + Villains falling in love, yes please, forever! C. Rochelle brings the smut, the fun, the laughs and the love with this series. It’s wacky and different and again, soooooooo much fun!

Okay. Here’s the deal. . .you need to read these. Now.

M/M Monster/Human Romances in a post apocalyptic world. I’ve only read the first three in the series but I absolutely freaking positivity LOVE this series. The monsters are not nearly as monstrous as you’d think while being totally monster worthy. And the love stories between these monsters and their human counterparts are everything worth reading.

“I love you.” His voice shook the tiniest amount, making my heart swell too big for my chest. “More than anything in this universe. But you can’t tell anyone.”

― Lily Mayne, Soul Eater

F/F Taboo-ish romance with bloody dark undertones and overtones. I adore the writing of The Mad House, it’s visceral and vicious and Liza James screams and bleeds across every page.

Heed the trigger warnings for this mad lovely novel.

My Review | Amazon | Goodreads

“It’s volatile, what her and I carry in this connection. Practically a living, breathing beast all on its own.”

― Liza James, The Mad House

My obsession with this book, for real. I picked it up off my shelves on a whim and then I couldn’t stop reading. I consumed this book, or maybe it consumed me.

While the romance is not the main plot point here, there is a sweet relationship that is foreshadowed and set up for the finale of the story.

It’s a dark game of hide and seek, all you’ve got to do is hide, right? This place might just eat you alive if you aren’t careful.

My Review

“But she doesn’t run for Ava. She runs toward Ava, trusting absolutely that Ava will be ready.”

― Kiersten White, Hide

Tentacles & Triathlons is adorable fun.

Reece is scared of monsters. Cyrus is a tentacled monster.

Together they are pure cuteness overload.

A sweet, easy-to-read novella set in the Leviathan Fitness series but can definitely be read on its own.

Amazon | Goodreads

“Fought with my trainer. Kissed him. Got tentacle fucked. You know, a typical Wednesday. Nothing too crazy.”

― Ashley Bennett, Tentacles & Triathlons
