My bookshelf is my boyfriend.

The Bat Boys.
Rhysand. Cassian. Azriel.
Just go read this series and thank me later. Once you go Bat Boy, you don’t go back.

Lahn.
Do I read this book at least once every year? Yes, yes I do.
Do I ever get tired of the beauty of this story? No, no I do not.
One of my absolute favorites from the great Kristen Ashley.
Some readers don’t like this one, as the beginning does have a rape scene. I however embraced the culture of the setting and trusted KA to make it right. And she sooooo does.
Also, picture Lahn as Jason Momoa circa Game of Thrones and just, yum.
p.s. I know it’s book two, but it can be read as a standalone.
Lee. Ultimate bad ass.
The Rock Chick series is a favorite, but I’ll admit that Lee stole my heart and has remained my favorite of all the guys featured in the series.
It’s KA at her fabulous best and worth reading and then reading again.

Hawke.
Alpha Wolf Shifter Extraordinare.
Book 10 in the Psy-Changeling series and worth the nine-book wait to get to Hawke’s story.
Nailini Singh knows how to write some dangerously epic stories, filled with intrigue, killer world building, and of course romance, and Kiss of Snow is EVERYTING.
p.s. Can be read as a standalone, much better when you read all the previous books though.
Curran.
Beast Master. Lion Shifter. The toughest asshole around.
The Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews is without a single doubt in my mind, one of the absolute BEST Urban Fantasy/Paranormal Romance series’ to ever grace the shelves. I will forever recommend every single morsel written by the husband/wife duo that makes up Ilona Andrews, but Kate Daniels is my favorite.
Curran is a favorite for a reason and those reasons shine through in every scene he appears in, and every single novel of this very long, very worth every word and syllable series.
Go read it. Go meet Kate, but also go meet the only male strong enough to take her on, Curran.

James Cavendish.
Soooooooo, do you like Fifty Shades of Grey?
Welllllllllll, the Up in the Air series and Mr. Cavendish himself blows Mr. Grey out of the fucking water.
This series is so vastly superior to Fifty Shades and Mr. Grey himself. The writing is stellar perfection, the sex is HOT – like get a fan or make sure your vibrator is charged because it’s HOT.
This is what BDSM, Kink, Sadist/Masochist dreams are made of.
I love Mr. Beautiful, I’ve lost count how many times I’ve read these books.
Why is this series not a movie?!
Also, side note, R.K. Lilley is amazing, she is one of the nicest humans I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet, as is her husband.
Dex.
Slow burn for the absolute win. After 11 books, not including spin-offs and novellas, you’d think I would be tired of the Experiment in Terror (EIT) series, but I’m not. I never will be.
Horror, scary bumps in the night, and Dex, lovely wonderful broken disastrous Dex.
If you haven’t met Dex and Perry yet, what are you waiting for?

Kane “Tack” Allen
While Motorcycle Man is book four in the Dream Man series, it can be read as a standalone, and while I adore the other men in the rest of the series I was salivating for Tack’s story, and omg, it was and is perfection.
What else can I say? KA writes some of my favorite book boyfriends.
Cole Blackwell.
The Sinners Duet by Sophie Lark is soooooooo good.
I adore Cole’s serial killer darkness, he’s macabre in the artworks that he creates, he’s obsessive with Mara once he decides to indulge in his obsession, and he’s dangerous with his tendencies. It’s a stellar duet, with a killer book boyfriend.

Tristan “The Predator” Caine.
Tristan Caine is my BAE. Seriously. He’s one of my absolute favorite characters to ever be written, and he is book-boyfriend material for life. He speaks more with his actions than with his words and when he does speak, knock me over with a syllable. I love him.
Reyes.
“I knew dating the son of Satan would turn out badly”
― Darynda Jones, First Grave on the Right
After 13 books and several novellas, how could Reyes not become book boyfriend material?
The Charley Davidson series is full of mysteries, sleuthing, supernatural shenanigans, humor, sexiness, a female protagonist that kicks ass and spouts laugh-out-loud dialogue while doing it, and Reyes, sexy yummy Reyes. Highly recommend this entire series, you won’t regret it.

Jericho Barrons.
“I was about to look away when he reached across the seat, touched my jaw with his long, strong, beautiful fingers, and caressed my face.
Being touched by Jericho Barrons with kindness makes you feel like you must be the most special person in the world. It’s like walking up to the biggest, most savage lion in the jungle, lying down, placing your head it its mouth and, rather than taking your life, it licks you and purrs.”
― Karen Marie Moning, Bloodfever
Eleven books. Epic does not even begin to describe the world-building and terrifying beauty found in this series. The Nine, iykyk, are killer, but Barrons, Barrons is the absolute best. Cold to Ms. Lane, whom he only calls Mac when she’s in trouble, but oh so hot with her at the same time. He is without a doubt one of the best characters to come flowing from the brain of the magnificent Karen Marie Moning.
He’s beloved for so many varied reasons, and this series in all honesty deserves every single piece of hype it has ever received, it is one to sink into and escape the world around you. Plus, you lucky bitches don’t have to wait on pins and needles for the next book to come, as it is a finished series. I, unfortunately, had to wait with bated breath between releases.
p.s. if you can locate it, there is a scene entirely from Barrons pov that is delicious, you can thank me later.
Warwick Farkas.
A low rumble came from Warwick, his hand sliding through his damp hair and scouring at his face.
“You are a conniving little bitch.”
“Thank you.”― Stacey Marie Brown, Savage Lands
Picture Jason Momoa as Warwick and you’re welcome! I love Warwick, he’s complicated, he’s got secrets and he’s mysteriously tied to the one and only Brexley. This series is fabulous, Savage Lands, book one, is on the slower side but once you are hooked, you are hooked.
Completed Series, thank the writing gods!
“There is nothing around him.” Tad’s attention pointed at me. “Or around you.” “What?” I straightened. “Me?” “Your aura is void of both life and death. Nothing.” Tad tilted his head. “Like him.”
― Stacey Marie Brown, Savage Lands

Adam.
The tension, the ebb, and flow between the titular character Mercy and her neighbor, the Alpha, Adam, is spell-bounding. This series is just so good, it’s hit classic status in my personal opinion, if you love PNR and/or Urban Fantasy, you really do need to read this series.
Adam is delicious, old-school, alpha to the extreme and so perfectly suited as Mercy’s partner.
If you haven’t picked this series up, you are in for a wonderful delightful ride.
p.s. while the covers are beautifully done by the amazing Dan dos Santos, these books are fairly clean, don’t expect smutty goodness within.
Nicholas.
“I want to ruin you Freda, in the best way possible.”
― L.H. Cosway, Painted Faces
Unconventional in the best possible way. Nicholas is a drag queen and he’s straight and he’s a total simp for Freda. It’s lovely. It’s wonderfully written. I remember the first time I read it, I was smitten, completely smitten. I’ll always recommend this beauty.
Nicholas will knock you stupid with how fabulous he is.

Thomas Cresswell, Stalking Jack the Ripper Series
Terrible, Downside Ghosts
Ezra, Forever Evermore
