2020 was a dumpster fire, but I read some good books while in lockdown and putting into action my natural introvert tendencies. xo

Oh my love and adoration for this beautifully f*cked up age-gap, professor/student, forbidden love, beauty of a novel. Plus! LOOK AT THE COVER! Just look how freaking beautiful it is, plus it works perfectly for the story.
She lives on my bookshelf, had to have this epic romantic story on my shelf forever.
I downloaded Just Drop Out on a whim and within pages of beginning I was so utterly completely hooked. I consumed this series as quickly as I could read and then couldn’t stop talking about it. The writing, premise, characters = compulsive readability.
The slow burn RH and Lips, our MC, along with her bestie are just so freaking perfect. Perfect. Perfect.

Oh my, Rhea Watson. One of my favorite authors of 2020. I adored these two standalones. One with a reaper and her pack of hellhounds. The other, a witch in prison and the men she finds within those walls.
Sooooo good. Reverse Harem perfection.

Bryn Greenwood is a powerhouse of a writer. I loved her previous novel and The Reckless Oath We Made is just as special. Tough subject matter, stunning prose, wonderful characters.

Kerri Maniscalco is one of my all-time favorite authors. I love and freaking adore her previous novels. This new series does not disappoint. . .princes of hell, magic, mystery, murder, awesomeness, and kissing, don’t forget the kissing.

Absolutely knock-you-stupid romantic. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this novel. So deeply romantic, hopeful and wonderful. One of my repeat read favorites.

Time travel romance that will rip your heart out and then put you back together again. So beautifully romantic. The writing is *chef’s kiss*

I honestly didn’t think I’d be into Devil’s Day Party and avoided it for a bit, which was completely stupid on my part. Once I read chapter one, I was hardcore hooked. Bully boys and a girl trapped living in the same day over and over again. It’s in my top 5 favorites from Stunich and the ending was pure perfection. Seriously.

Seven Sins of Snow is a bloody vampiric Snow White Reverse Harem retelling with serious dark bite. Heed the triggers, it doesn’t shy from playing in the dark, viciously.
I loved it. If you loved fairytales as a child and now find yourself loving them as an adult but with some added spice, I think you’ll love this one too.
Winterly is a beautiful gothic romance with vampires, witches and werewolves. The romance is spellbinding, the writing is lyrical, the story is everything. If you are looking for a gothic read, check this one out.

I understand that Den of Vipers wasn’t for everyone, I kinda loved it though, sorry, not sorry.
A bit depraved, darkly sexual, wonderfully fucked up. . .not for everyone. Reverse harem with a heroine that takes everything these guys dish out and asks for more. I genuinely loved it, it’s on my shelf. Plus, it’s super long and that cover makes me uber happy.
Harrow Faire, the mysterious Circus that steals the memories of the patrons to stay alive. I’m only two books into this completed series and have really enjoyed Kathryn Ann Kingsley’s storytelling.
Different, unique and oh, so much fun, with dashes of sexy romance. Love it. Plus the covers are so creative and perfectly match the vibe of the story within.

I know that not everyone loves Sarah J Maas, I really do though. And I freaking loved House of Earth and Blood. The beginning is a bit slow, which is to be expected from the first novel in a new fantasy series. But the second half and ending of this book is non-stop crazy awesomeness.
I cried a lot and yet in the end I was left hopeful. If you’ve loved her other novels, you’ll love this one too. The world building fantasy elements, the relationships are spectacular and I just, I love it. Can’t wait for the next book.
