Thank you Wordsmith Publicity + Authors Rachel Jonas + Nikki Thorne for an ARC in exchange for an honest review

Wowza, what did I just read? Break the Girl is a well-written, fantastic bully-enemies-to-lovers first novel in a new series. Seriously, what did I just read? Because it was amazing. I was hooked from the moment Stevie lays eyes on three ‘Savages’, three men who instantly zero in on our plus size heroine. . .the moment they lay eyes on each other, the tension and attraction is palpable.
I loved that Stevie is a plus-size young woman, I adored that this played into how she views herself and how the guys respond every time the demons of her past come out of her mouth. It was refreshing to have plus-size representation in a romance novel and in a Reverse Harem novel at that. Stevie is courageous, tenacious, and deeply layered and I loved every moment with her.
As for the guys. . .Micah, Vince, and Ash. These three are deliciously depraved and unhinged and I loved every single solitary moment of their bullying and obsession. What they do to Stevie is twisted and yet, they’re addicted to the bombshell with a mouth of defiance.
Told in all of their points of view, with mostly Stevie, I dare you to pick up this book and not be all in with these three crazy men and their Bird.
I don’t want to give away spoilers for the storyline itself beyond the synopsis but be prepared for layers of secrets, tragedy, and each character hiding a wealth of pain. Together these four characters are explosive. If you like your romance with bullying and enemies-to-lovers, then don’t miss out on this beauty of a first outing. It does end on a cliffhanger that makes me desperate for the next book, but wow this book is really really good. Highly recommend.
