Series Review: A Knight’s Revenge by Elizabeth Dear
Solid 4 Star Series | Reverse Harem + Academy Setting + Mafia-ish/Billionaires | Amazon + Goodreads

A little bit of a bully academy novel with some deep dark secrets interwoven into the plot. Storm the Gates, book one, starts off solid with Jojo, having survived the death of her parents and her own attempted murder went into hiding for seven years. Now she’s coming out of hiding and she’s going to take the Families who ripped her world apart down.
The only complication. Her three best friends from childhood. Bennett, Noah, and Zach were forced to watch as they believed their best friend was murdered by their collective parents. Now they’ve grown up into hardened men.
What is it about Jojo that makes her such a great character to root for? She’s ruthless, passionate, and has a depth of character that you can’t help but root for her as she infiltrates the Academy, the Families and the minds of the boys she left behind.
I really enjoyed this outing and quickly dove into book two. If you love RH, Why Choose with a slow burn start, some academy shenanigans, and an almost Mafia-like presence, you’ll love this one.
The ending is slightly cliffy but mostly just totally awesome!
Seize the Castle is everything I dreamed and rooted for! Yes! All the yes!
Jojo is back and she’s back with a vengeance, her boys know who she is now and while one is on board, another is on the fence and the last one is pissed off at her. But Jojo shines in her power and her strength in this one even more. She’s no longer pretending to be someone she isn’t, she’s an heir and she’s going to take back her family’s place and shred the other Families piece by piece.
I loved this second outing even more than the first, and the spice – the spice has finally arrived and it is yum worthy.
This one ends on a much more brutal cliff hanger but I’m not worried as I know that Jojo has got this in the bag.
Again, I super recommend this series, must begin with book one or you will be lost but super worth the reading time and super well written.

Revenge never tasted so sweet.
It’s all come down to Kill the King and it is so so so good. What a deservedly perfect ending to such a solidly written series. I completely enjoyed this outing and ending, and am so excited to read the novella to come.
Jojo and her men grow closer and the found family aspect of this story shines so brightly. And that ending! My goodness, that ending. Everything gets wrapped up pretty nicely with the perfect opening to finish things up with two certain somebodies.
I can’t recommend this series enough. If you are looking for an escape from the daily that takes place in an academy setting-ish, with some amazing characters, found family, and big bads getting what they deserve. . .look no further.
